Today was a blessed day.   We swam in  the morning. 

After lunch we went to visit Mrs. O.  at Wesley. 

She is failing terribly.   Please pray for her. 

After that we walked around her old floor and said hi to the friends we have made there.  Amazingly,  a lot of them have been there for the 5+ years we have been visiting. 

We have a new special friend we have been visiting.  

Today we took Mary outside in the courtyard to sit a spell  while the children played. 

Oliver was concerned about Lucy's safety so he put cones around her so no one would run into her on the bikes.  (!)

This is the tail end of some mayhem including Sophie and Gilli. 

I let them run around like maniacs outside. 

I so enjoyed my conversation with Mary.   She is this Mary.  

She is on the right. 

She wrote Big Doc's Girl.  

It is an American Classic, I enjoyed it so.  

Mrs Medearis is such a sweet soul with her every so slight 

Southern drawl. Actually drawl is not the right word (help Ruth and Becky!)  She is full of stories.
