Our first full day on the pump was better than the prior in that eventually Ollie was in a safe range. Right now I am chasing down BGs in the 400s again. I will give him a shot of insulin if he is still high at 2. There are a lot of people to help us navigate these new waters. We just need to dig in and row, eh Frank?
Yes, I am "mixing my metaphors", that is what happens when sleep deprived.

Hang in there Kari! and let me know if we can do anything to help (like take some kiddos so you can get some sleep! ;)
Hey Kariann...I had no idea you had a blog or how you even found me, but props to Christian for bringing me here.
So were Oliver's levels normal before the pump came along and the pump is causing the BG's to skyrocket?? Such confusing stuff. Of course we are so far away from a pump at this point. Hope all goes well and you get some sleep.
Hugs,
Elise
