Today as I was on the phone prepping for the day and catching up with a friend Christian picked up the extension.
"ummm mom, this is an emergency. Apparently Quinn has a dead rabbit in the living room"
Yes, apparently he did.
Thankfully I have Ollie The Brave to take care of these situations.
That being said Christian and Gilli had knitting lessons today and they are both sitting making belts right now. I think I am in an alternate universe.

OMgosh! You how calm you are! I don't usually get worked up, but if there were a dead animal in the house, I may have had to get a frazzled! LOL
Did you have rabbit stew for dinner?
someday there's going to be a book, I just know it!! You can't make this stuff up! Glad you're blogging about it so you can remember it!!
There cannot be a book because my memory is shot!
Lynne is constantly saying "Remember when .........".
The rabbit was huge. We could have had a big pot of stew. Papa would be disappointed I didn't use him.
I was shrieking like a schoolgirl :-)
What size needles are the kids using for knitting? Tell them to knit a rectangle, sew the short ends together, gather one end and you have a hat! Or don't gather it but sew it closed and tuck the corners in for a classy Deno ski hat!
Too bad Papa wasn't there. Your kids would have learned a new skill.
We love new skills!
They were finger knitting, we start with sticks in 2 weeks :-) The teacher's husband makes the sticks, I am not sure what size they are.
