Shift

I went to counseling today for the first time ( not counting my fabulous, patient friends and Keith). I wanted to get up out of the waiting room and leave. The secretary looked up at me through the window and never opened it and greeted me. Weird. It was tiring and I kept having this feeling that I was in the wrong seat. Don't they know I have it all together and I am the one who helps other people. Guess they didn't get the memo.

On a funny note, I stopped in the Dollar Tree store for co-op craft supplies and what did I spy out of the corner of my eye? An appealing fabric on the clothing rack. Sure enough, a J.Jill blazer for $1.

Counseling?

Yes,

Keith has had a very difficult year. I decided that I needed some help to be able to better support him.

At the end of the interview the guy asked me what my top 3 goals for counseling were.

"I don't know, my friends said I should come"

was my answer.

Good for you! That's a big step, but if you have the right counselor, it can be such a great thing. :)

I was happy and fine when I went in, I felt worse afterward.
